Beavis and Butt-head are, as one of the early preshow disclaimers read, "dumb, crude, ugly, thoughtless, fools. But for some reason the (boys) make us laugh." During the show -- which had a five-year run beginning in 1993 and was resurrected by creator Mike Judge in 2011 -- the dim-witted duo watch music videos and provide their own running commentary on the clips, with plenty of childlike chortling along the way. A 21st-century return allows the still-high-school-age pals to unleash their snarky, immature comments upon both music and viral videos, pop-culture phenomenon such as Lady Gaga and even MTV properties "Jersey Shore" and "16 and Pregnant."

Mike Judge is the MAN. Beavis and Butthead, King of the Hill, Office Space, Idiocracy... a man way ahead of his time, making comedy far more clever than most people thought at the time.

One episode that always sticks out in my memory is when Beavis and Butthead are eating chicken nuggets and Butthead starts choking on one. Beavis being Beavis, he has no idea what to do in the event of such a medical emergency, nor seems to grasp that Butthead's life is in danger. He seems more amused that Butthead is "choking...on chicken", which even gets a stifled laugh from the distressed, blue-faced Butthead.

As a fan of Beavis and Butt-Head, I can tell you that, as hilarious as this was, you've barely scratched the surface of all of their medical moments. You can easily do a part 2 of this, maybe even a part 3.

My favorite medical scene from Beavis and Butthead was the one where they paid a mentally ill homeless guy to bite them because they thought he was a werewolf and they wanted to turn into werewolves. Then the cops come and arrest they guy for doing it, right after they leave and they say, "put your gloves on. This guy has Hep C and God knows what else." Later on the boys end up in the hospital with like 7 or 8 different kinds of infections and their doctor is shocked that they were still alive. It was one of the newer episodes from like 2007 or 08, I think, when MTV briefly brought it back, so you probably don't remember it. I was really hoping you going to react to that scene in this video, though.

There's a show called "Archer" that centers around a spy agency. In addition to people being shot or poisoned, they also feature unique injuries like a woman getting serious burns from grabbing dry ice. The main character is even diagnosed with breast cancer after years of radiation exposure.

I worked for a medical answering service back in the 90s, we took patient calls after hours and relayed them to doctors and nurses. It's absolutely mind boggling the things that people stick into orifices. And then, want their care provider to help them instead of going to the ER so they won't be embarrassed.

Poor Beavis he ALWAYS get the short end of the stick whenever the two get into dire situations. Even when they both got struck by lightning, Beavis suffered the worst of it (mainly because he was up higher and was holding onto the kite so he got most of it)
