Plane crashes on golf course near Centennial Airport

Too bad that the dirt on the fairway was so soft. Judging by the wheel ruts they might have bee able to remain upright if it had been harder. If the plane had retractable gear they would have been in better shape also.

Occupants probably survived because they did not attempt "The Impossible Turn" after takeoff and just landed straight ahead. Looks like grass was extremely soft which caused flip after landing. A proper soft field landing might have saved the aircraft as well. No offense, just speculating.

what a dumb and useless sport. they should just turn the course into an airstrip, at least it wouldn't be a continuous waste of resources for all the super expensive upkeep those things require. complete waste of land.
