How Do You Get Light Using Light-Emitting DiodesHow do you get white light using light-emitting diodes? There are three ways to get white light from LEDs. The first variant employs RGB technology of color mixing. Red, blue and green light-emitting diodes are located on one matrix. Their emission is mixed with the help of optical system, for example lens. As a result, we get the white light. The second way is based on the fact that on the three luminophors which are applied to surface of the LED emitting ultra-violet range. They emit blue, green and red light accordingly. It is similar to the light of a luminescent lamp. And finally the third way is to apply the yellowish-green or green plus red luminophor on a blue LED, so that two or three emissions are mixed generating white or almost white light.
