What are you talking about vedas and referring to Mahabharat and Gita. Vedas are the four chief collections are the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda. Mahabharat and Gita are not Vedas, it is “Great Epic of the Bharata Dynasty”) and Gita is not simple that is the most important portion which explains the existence of human being and how to get moksha.
