I had an Axon 5 and my Mum is using it still. I had great warranty and update support in Australia.
This is not nearly as expensive as my Samsung 21 ultra and don't expect it. GG to ZTE.

I'm thinking about getting this phone, but the only problems I have is no wireless charging and that it starting at $700 US so you can imagine how much the 1 TB version will cost furthermore the 512GB !

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is hands down a way better phone than this, but it only has 512GB version is the highest and three cameras but yet, this gives you a better selfie camera and is four on the back so the choices are limited in both departments. ZTE, if you can, I know that you're listening to us for feedback, improve the camera software, release a plus version with wireless charging and leave the high refresh rate and you're gonna definitely beat the competition with that 8K recording that you have set up for these cameras (including the front should be at least 4K. 1080P on on selfie camera is outdated)

But trying to upgrade from my current Samsung Galaxy Note 8, either would be wonderful! Anyways great reviews as always Matthew!

well, its pretty rare to see people using zte phone nowadays. it is like a universal phone for 'niche' market. maybe i'm wrong. but it's definitely a great phone in terms of hardware and spec sheets.

ZTE Axon 7 i had a few years was probably the best phone i ever had. Metal phone, stereo and solid build. Only downfall was poor battery performance. Axon Ultra looks awesome, like it very much. Also the photo comparison, the ZTE shots looked far better than the Samsung. 👍

I Want to buy this phone, Ever since I've seen the specs. I got impressed. Some of those specs are found on other phones and aome specs that i found on the axon 30 ultra higher and better than the rest of devices. Basically i have p40 pro and I started to get sick and tired of it and I want to upgrade to another phone. What i mostly need is great camera, fast charger, latest Snapdragon. Processor, loads of RAM and internal storage capacity. And so far ZTE doesn't disappoint. But before i buy. I want to ask you if i'm guaranteed with frequent software updates, how fast they are? And how long ZTE supports its devices, I live in the uk. Can you please respond to my enquiry once you're available. btw I like your videos. Great job man. Best of luck.

S21 camera clearly takes better picture, btw if you r asking to hit the like but and subscribe then do it in between the video it will be better .

I'm curious what the purpose of the portrait lens is. Does it have a 2x or 3x optical zoom? Is it simply a 1x zoom that is used in conjunction with the main lens for depth mapping?

I'm guessing it is an intermediate zoom lens (as I mentioned, 2x-3x) since otherwise, there wouldn't be much of a point in using a high quality 64mp sensor. If it was 1x and used solely for depth mapping they'd be able to very simply gain the same effect from a cheaper sensor.

With the 5x periscope lens, they likely want something in between that and the main lens for the purpose of not cropping the hell out of the main sensor @4x or so where the periscope is still too zoomed to be usable.

Can you select that specific lens manually using zoom options or is it regulated entirely to the camera app's portrait mode?
