I totally agree. Our girls are 28 & 23. Every summer we went to St. Augustine for a week and Atlanta for Thanksgiving to my aunt/unc house. Now they are grown and aunt/unc died. I miss those days terribly ❤️

That actually just made me cry I never looked at it like that 2 of mine are already grown and left and I have 3 left and there not babies anymore my youngest is almost 13 and I hold them tight while they sleep as I no the years are flying by so fast and before I blink again they might be gone but I don’t mind them staying at home over 18 just to be close ❤😢

I remember when I was little instead of spending time with me my parents would just buy me a toy. I always get sad thinking that I barely have any good memories with my family. Looking at other parents putting their time into their kids warms my heart ❤️

I grew up in Hawaii and my parents always said that there are 2 things in life you should never penny pinch on. 1. Your shoes because if it causes pain or is uncomfortable it will ruin your day! 2. Food. Food is what brings your Ohana together and that’s where memories are made. Looking back at my 59 years on earth and my most memorable times with friends and family revolved around gathering to eat and talking story!😊

I don’t know why, but even though I already realize this, it just hits harder when you actually see a number written down. My oldest just turned 13 and my lil guy is 9. I’m running out of summers :(
