You are spot on with the weather watcher for me. Thats what you become when 70% of winter days around here is wind, rain and damp weather.

You missed the guy with a multilayer goretex suit.
-10C = no problem with heated grips
+40C = no problem with vents opened

A good tip to keep your hands warm when riding, is to use latex gloves underneath your normal gloves. It doesn't sound like much but it really works.

You forgot the guy that rides up until the day it's snowing and then still debates with himself to take the bike anyways

Does anyone else do that thing in winter, where, to stop your visor fogging up when you stop, you blow downwards through the chin of you lid? 😄

That McGuyver hack really works, you never know, where you end up. I once found myself riding soaking wet, late at night about 200km from home and without money. The temperature was about 7-9 C. With what few cents i had on me i bought plastic carry bags from a petrol station and stuffed under my wet jacket. That probably saved my life. (Also if WC has a heater hand dryer - thats an awesome place to get warm, just crouch under it ) Anyhow, a piece of advice if you ride in cold - things happen, so just in case, stuff an emergency blanket (its like foil thats gold on one side and silver on another). That thing takes almost no space, is light and may save you. Drive Safe!

Laughed so hard at the Checkers bags in the boot.

I'm not riding with waterproof boots, and my boots were still wet on Tuesday from the Cape town rains we had on Saturday, despite the daily commute. So I was rocking my Checkers bags well into the week 😂😂😂

The All-seasonor I ride every day rain or shine... Some days are better than others, as one would expect.

Been there as someone who's riding his bike to work everyday. Got my license last year and rode through the winter, even snow (unvoluntarily as it came by surprising while I was at work, even though I'm a notorious weather checker only to decide to ride nonetheless :D ). Layers are very important, as is thicker gear in general like winter riding gloves. But without heated grips, your hands just will get cold, something we winter riders will have to live with

20 kilograms ago, I used to be the 15 year old trying to ride his 2stroke vespa in the snow. I couldn't afford winter gear so i had 3 pairs of trousers on 😂.

11. The one who confidently rides through snow, ice and slush and says it’s no much differences between summer and winter riding.

I would regularly ride in November, even early December, at 3-5 Celsius. Heated grips, heated gloves, heated vest under the jacket, hot sticky patches in boots (over toes), and wrist protectors. Pants with a waterproof membrane and jogger elastic pants. I always had a blast and it felt cosy and comfortable.

4:30 bro I thought I was the only one who does all this. And in fact, I don't feel like taking all that off and often my friends all get surprised when I tell them how many clothes I am wearing😂
We live the same life 😂

Was laughing until I was called out...the weather watcher! I do this during the months I ride, in the winter, she gets put away.

Sheer brilliance, I haven't laughed that much in ages, thank you.
