I switched to the CHEAPEST Apple Life

Curious if you really need to spend hundreds on the latest Apple tech? I put together a complete Apple ecosystem (iPhone, MacBook, Apple Watch, and iPad) for the same price as just the new iPhone 16e. The results were... interesting. Is this budget setup actually usable in 2025, or a complete waste of money?

Luke never steers ya wrong! I grabbed from eBay a 21" iMac (Late 2012) for $40 (added a 1TB SSD - to play 32-bit games via Mojave, and a Mac Mini (Late 2014) for $60 and added a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD on which I installed MacOS Sonoma (via Open Core Legacy patcher) then erased the 1TB HDD in it to use for Data Storage. They are running awesome! All said and done I have $185 and change invested in these 2 Mac's. They are awesome! Thanks Luke, and you too Austin!
