Zelensky writes on missile with Eiffel Tower symbol to mark Ukraine's Air Force Day

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky visited an airfield at an undisclosed location on Sunday (August 6) to congratulate airmen and women who are fighting Russia's invasion and to inspect Soviet-made aircraft carrying what appeared to be Anglo-French Storm Shadow missiles.
He emblazoned 'Glory to Ukraine' with a felt pen on a missile that bore a sticker with Ukraine's coat of arms and the Eiffel tower intertwined, and the French name for the Storm Shadow missile, SCALP-EG, written on it.
He also inspected two western-supplied air defence systems, Patriot and Iris T-SLM, that were on display on an undisclosed airfield.
The visit comes as Russia said a Ukrainian missile strike had damaged the Chonhar road bridge linking mainland Ukraine to Crimea on Sunday (August 6), Russia's RIA news agency cited the Moscow-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, as saying.
