In this video I walk through some of the new data points that are now available in the last 24 hours and how that's changing and influencing how I'm thinking about Tesla stock and Tesla's long term prospects.

I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.

Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.

My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

If you like this content I would greatly appreciate your likes and shares!

What do you think about my Twitter poll's results asking if folks will buy a Tesla?

I have owned a model 3 for two years and still get stopped constantly by people who want to know about the ownership experience, charging costs, range, etc. I feel like there is a TON of demand for Tesla cars, but possibly either the high sticker price or ignorance about total cost of ownership are preventing many from buying one.

FM, one aspect I haven't heard discussed as potential secondary, tertiary impacts of TSLA stock decline and all the fuss around Elon and Twitter is the impact on talent acquisition or attrition. I think it's unequivocal that Tesla makes great products; you could argue they make great products because of great talent; if great talent moves to other companies, could that impact Tesla products? I personally doubt it but it's something to consider.

He created a dip just for us retail INVESTORS. This is just a honeytrap for a few ALL IN short positions !!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it !!!

Hey Farzad, I don’t think the issue is Elon finding a Twitter CEO, the real risk to Tesla is that even with a new CEO Elon still has to pay the bills. Until Twitter is cash positive, risk of Elon selling Tesla still remains.

He is a genius but even geniuses are not excluded from being idiots as well.

Why's he telling retail investors to buy the dip while selling himself and talking to ppl who are short the market, same time calling them a "genius investor". I guess that term doesn't apply to us because we didn't sell and try to frontrun Elon's sales like the rest of Wallstreet. We believed in Elon and the Tesla BOD to do right by the existing shareholders, clearly we the retail investors are idiots (sarcasm).

Farzad you are truly the voice of reason. I’ve unsubscribed some Tesla creators because I’m tired of being called a basement dweller for being concerned about a 66% drop in share price and to mindlessly trust in Elon’s noble vision like we are prototype Tesla bots. This is nonsense. If Elon wants Twitter to evolve into the most trusted source of freedom of speech he needs to be less partisan and divisive. I love Elon’s vision for humanity. Now that’s what I invested in

See here’s why I disagree with you and Dave, you both say he should be impartial. The platform has been skewed so far to the left for so long, that any attempt to run counter to that is seen as not being impartial, when in reality, he’s just advocating for center. He’s not making extreme right wing comments, he’s talking to those of us in the middle. Remember his little spectrum post? Where he was a little left of center and the left kept moving further left and it made him look like he was right? I’m right there with him. I like what he’s doing.

Its fantastic that Elon is starting to listen to his community ... very positive moves. All a lot of people want is just a little reasurance from Elon and a lot of the noise and controversy will evaporate. IMO.

Thank you for a non-emotional, data-driven analysis. I, too, agree that us TSLA LongHldrs will be fine, which is why I'm buying on the dip.

The noise and fud is coming primarily from the "Tesla Community" ...

I live in Holland. A year ago, charging my M3 saved me 60% on fuelcost. Now it costs me the same. I think this is all over Europe. I think this will hurt demand....

Reasons for optimism.

Tesla continues to rapidly grow.
Competition is pulling back from EV investments going into a recession.
Tesla stock must be running low on sellers.
Energy storage will start to grow fast this quarter and into next year.

Thank you for saying that about the Dave poll. I think a lot of people missed that.

Tesla needs to finally announce the "low-cost" model and go after the Toyota Corolla buyers (20k-25k), and at the same time bring out the Cybertruck and Roadster for the halo effect.

Buying in chunks as it drops to ea of my target levels. Its that simple. Don’t know why investors would be unhappy with current prices… its like my prayers have been answered lol

When will the focus when talking about TESLA shift from the car business to be complemented by revenues coming from the energy business. These should strengthen the future outlook. Could you please elaborate on this in future episode. Thank you for your great work and insights.

Actually I believe the noise wouldnt be so bad if there would be less fog. Him coming out talking about where he is with Twitter economically, and Tesla being more transparent about how they grow the business would help alot. We as a community know all that, but cnbc viewers dont. Beeing less foggy would be nice.

People need to ignore the house. Is Tesla still growing deliveries at over 50% year over year? Yes. Does the company still have industry leading margins? Yes. Are there more products coming down the pipeline for the foreseeable future? Yes.

That’s all that matters to me. Stock keeps dropping I see opportunities.
