Webinar: Promoting Equity for the Direct Care Workforce (2-14-22)

Показать описание
Throughout the country, millions of direct care workers struggle with inadequate compensation, insufficient training, limited advancement opportunities, and a general lack of respect and recognition—which fuels an untenable staffing crisis in long-term care. For a workforce comprised largely of women, people of color, and immigrants, systemic racism and gender injustice—among other inequities—are at the core of these job quality challenges, which harm workers, consumers and families, and the entire care sector. This webinar explores how various types of systemic inequities have harmed direct care workers and how policy and practice leaders can address these issues to promote equity and justice.
