The name of the enzyme is catalase. It speeds up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.

For a VERY long time, I used to believe "bubbles means there's an infection being actively killed right now" I STILL kind of feel like "yay, it's killing bacteria!!!" every time I see the bubbles form, LOL

That effect of forming oxygen is also part of the mechanism why I found a bit of peroxide helps to remove blood stains from my clothes if I happen to have a cut under my shirt or something. The peroxide basically oxidizes everything that could stain the clothing until it can't be oxidized anymore.
