Hey everyone! Hope your having a great week. Today we are talking C8 Corvette htc vs coupe. One of these options on the c8 corvette is more practical for everyday use and travel and one is not! Make sure you don't make the mistake and get the wrong one and not be able to travel with luggage in your #c8 #corvette. I have taken my C8 on a 3000mile trip before and am very thankful I chose the C8 option that I did. Love the C8 HTC and coupe and looking forward to more corvette c8 content and mod ideas in the future .
Also let me know what other mid engine cars, suvs or anything else your interested in or looking forward to! I want your guys feedback and value it, thanks a ton!
Have a Epic week! And stay safe!

Hey guys take a look at my Instagram for new pics !!!

I have always been on the side of Coupe in the debate, especially with older cars and convertibles styling. The new C8/Z06 looks are gorgeous in both Coupe & Convertible. I think I'm going for the coupe in the C8 when it arrives and once I sell/trade in for the Z06, I am really leaning towards the convertible!

Had a C7 for 5 years, took the top down maybe 5 times. Take maybe a dozen 100 mile trips a year with my Vette club. My 2022 HTC makes it easy to take the top down for maybe 20 miles of a 100 mile trip. Worth every devalued Biden dollar.

You glanced over one of the most convenient factors...You run around town with the top down on the HTC...you just press the button to raise and lower the top vs lugging it off and on every time you stop somewhere. That's the biggest benefit. The rest is eye candy.

Definitely HTC, love the look of the nacelles. But I’m gonna do the white with black top/nacelles. That contrast is awesome. Think I’m gonna do the high wing too. I think it makes the car look more aggressive and I don’t mind the four posts. I should be getting an allocations in May…hopefully 😀

I have HTC in my build. I think it looks awesome and it is visually cool watching the HTC go up and down. After 3 weeks you’ll tire of looking at your engine.

I just saw where a company has come out with glass inserts for the hardtop convertible so you can see the engine and it looks awesome

The HTC is my first convertible Vette and I love it. When on a road trip with my coupes in the past I would take the top off b4 I leave and leave it off unless the weather changed. Because of the convenience of the HTC I now may start the trip with the top down and when I get on the interstate I will put the top up. When getting off I put the top down again to site see or just drive around town. It's sooo easy that I find myself driving with the top down much more than I ever did in a coupe.

I feel it all goes on what state you live. A place like Miami, LA, Atlanta are for Convertible use but other non popular states are for the coupe use.

We travel, so this is a no brainer decision....HTC all the way. Great video and love the color of your car.

HTC all the way. I just got my triple black and it's a show stopper. Super exotic.

the high top looks amazing on the htc. the z51 spoiler is a bit underwhelming imo. the low profile looks better than the z51 I think. I was all about the coupe and disregarded the HTC completely bc i hate convertibles. then once i started watching videos the HTC has grown on me. So its either a Z51'd and highly optioned coupe, or a basic HTC for same price. However the look, the rearview mirror camera standard, storage space being available with top down and not having to constantly clean the engine bay imo is becoming way more worth it. I wanted the coupe so bad, figured itd be perfect for shows with that engine bay but now realizing the amount of cleaning id be doing on it I dont want that. I spent lots of time at every show with my challenger cleaning and recleaning the engine bay as that was a focal point of my car bc I had thousands in engine bay customization, including a supercharger. htc ftw

My opinion is hardtop convertible only if and when they decide to put clear glass on the back so you can still see the motor like you can on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale

But it is a two seater and the frunk is big enough to fit the bag that comes with it and a small luggage that can fit a lot of clothes

I have a Red Mist HTC on order and wouldn’t go any other way 😁

I agree Vert much more exotic . Seeing motor in the coupe wears off after a month or 2 and don’t have the pressure to keep motor cleaned . Someone who has a driveway and not garage won’t have to worry about rain going into the coupe vents. My Vert will be built 1/25/22 I can’t wait . Your car is beautiful. Mine will be white with red interior

The HTC looks better, especially with the blacktop.

No way. That HTC is not worth more than 3000 dollars tops . That is why probably lot of people rather deal with doing it manually.

I would normally go with the coupe but the C8 HTC looks more exotic.

Thx for the comparison video! The C8 is essentially a "coupevertible" with your option being a manual top up or down operation...or an automatic one. I have driven both...the open top experience IMHO is nearly identical with both iterations. I was quite surprised how little difference there really was. IF they had designed the "HTC" with a full down rear window then I would say there is a coupe and a convertible model and the open experience would be much greater. As for looks... beauty is in the eye of the beholder and both are super eye candy. And like Steve Jobs used to say..."one more thing, " C8's have 2 trunks so any top parked in the rear is not really a big deal. And yours truly lives in the south where my top is off 11 out of 12 months of the year. That said...the $7K difference in price is only different in terms of the time value of the 7K...you will get it all back when you sell. Thx and all the best to all! One more thing...just go get one...any one. You'll thank me in the morning!
