How to Create a New pgAdmin Server Connection

Welcome to another short video supporting the use of the applications included in the Smart Enough Factory's Factory in a Box kit. A previous short video showed you how to start the applications on the Chromebook that run inside the Linux development environment. You will need to have the development environment running and have pgAdmin's web based user interface open and be logged in.
In our example we are creating a new connection so we can test the read only grafana role (user). Without diving too deep into database privileges, grafana only has usage of the database named fiab, it can't create (write) to the database.
