tariffs are not inflationary. yes it affects pricing signals, but it does not inflate the money supply. 'printing' new money faster than the increase in the rate of productivity gains is what is inflationary. unless all the basic laws of economics have changed since I graduated from college.

Trump's policies, including tax cuts and deregulation, were seen as positive for the financial sector, fueling a strong market rally. His tariffs, particularly on China, aimed to protect U.S. companies but also created some market volatility. If you're considering investing over $300K, it’s important to factor in how these policies could affect the broader market, especially in terms of trade impacts and financial sector performance.

Just read that Trump’s tariffs triggered one of the biggest market drops in years. I’ve got $200K sitting in cash, and now I’m more hesitant than ever to jump back in. This feels different from the usual dip.

Tariffs will increase costs of finished goods and components used throughout US manufacturing. This will be an immediate and huge hike in inflation. To fight inflation the Fed will have to hike interest rates which will be wonderful for the billionaires but possibly take away the middle class. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

Your input has always been useful, but the way you have improved your communication skills (oral, visual and also non verbal) is very impressive. Thank you for your work! You are great!

The tarriff plan will evidently lead to high inflation, the high inflation is a significant reason why most retirees have sleepless nights. The increase in prices of everyday items puts them at risk of running out of money. As prices rise, the amount of money retirees can withdraw from their retirement savings also increases.

The continuous creation of credit and debt is essential to the survival of the American economy. It is anticipated that the Federal Reserve will expand the money supply, which will result in additional debt accumulation for the typical American. So, how can we specifically prepare for the impending financial reset?

It's enticing to consider purchasing some stocks in this market. I'm contemplating investing more than $300k for retirement. While the bull run can generate short-term excitement, i also need long-term investment strategy

2025’s tariff landscape could be a make-or-break moment for portfolios. If tensions escalate, sectors like EVs, semiconductors, or agriculture might face massive volatility. Are investors even prepared for that level of risk?

Moving from single stocks to ETFs, tired of the circus. Thoughts on your best possible strategies to hedge a 6-figure portfolio from dwindling please?

In an interview at my current employer, they asked how I keep up with economic news and trends .. I said I don’t watch TV news, but I do subscribe to an economic news letter (Hump Days). 😃👍🏼 Honestly, man.. one of the only email subscriptions I’ve ever been glad to have / never unsubbed from.

For someone near retirement with a $50K tanking portfolio, what key tax benefits should they consider before switching to a Roth IRA?

I am 53 and retired at 50. One thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 1500+ units from collaborative efforts in the fund my estate planner has me invested in. I do not work..

This is not clear to me. I want to build a net worth of $10m before retirement. I’m 25 and just started investing in my Roth IRA, currently putting my money into SCHD and SPY, any other suggestions?

Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.

Mark my words, everyone stacking $XAI34M now will be laughing in the next bull run. Pure potential!

Might need a part 2 of this video once reciprocal tariffs go into effect on April 2. :)

Also, John Deere recently closed plants in Iowa and Illinois cutting over 600 jobs and moved operations to Mexico to leverage lower labor costs.

Overall, my portfolio is still doing quite well, around +220%, I guess.

Let’s see how the rest of the month goes… fingers crossed!

I’ve been curious as to why a lot of people seem to be freaking out about the stocks since the history of the market tells us everything will eventually rise and keep rising. But I never really considered people using short term strategies. Buy and hold has always been mine.
