Rarely had a television series managed to capture the intensity of heavy machinery moving slowly on a dirt road. I bet Richard Attenborough would’ve been jealous.

After the previous episode this episode was way much better though. The Hoffman crew needs 3 washplants to get 140 oz. and Parker used only 1 washplant to get 327 oz.

I can't help wondering if Todd is going to pay the lost bet out of his own pocket or that his crew has to chip in order to pay for the lost bet. I mean, are the Hoffman's going to split the gold first with the crew and then after they split it pay the lost bet from their own gold, or are they going to pay the lost bet first and then split the rest of the gold with the crew? Who else is wondering?

I’d like to see this show have Freddy quit wasting his time with Todd. Split up Todd’s crew, and join up with his brother and start a new main crew. Then start a brand new crew with Dave Torren and his brothers. Keep parked crew, but since he’s leaving Tony’s ground, either get rid of tony or regulate him to a small part again.

wow todd found some gold so thats 146 ounces from the minus 200.000 ounces his lost over the course of the show and juan should have kicked hunter in the balls it really would have added a highlight to this weeks show

Parker is just 700 ounces short of his 5000 ounces goal and if he has 2-3 more good cleanups he is gonna reach that goal. Todd on the other hand really shows his incompetence since he always has big goals and a big mouth witch he always falls short of delivering. At this pace he is not even gonna reach 2000 before the season is over. I understand why Chris Doumit and Dave Turrin left his crew.

It's sad that the show is like watching an art competition... where you have these 2 guys painting these beautiful Picassos, these Rembrandts, and then you have this dumpy idiot in the corner finger painting (with easy access to as much expensive equipment and tools as he needs) making really terrible stick people. I agree with many, most of Toad's crew need to leave that faker and join a crew that knows wth they are doing, even make a crew with Dave. Why the hell would anyone in their right mind want Toad to work their claim? Maybe rent it out because they know what a failure he is, easy money, cheaper to pay for land and make the mint on the show? No serious land owner or investor who has seen the show or looks into Toad's background would trust him with an acre.

I can't believe how excited Hoffman's get after clean up. They were all clapping and cheering as if they have won a lotto. They were so desperate to boost their weekly total that they spent time cleaning up after running holy roller for just one day. How ridiculous?
