Edit: This comment is not direct at the actual content creator, just the skit and I made this comment because it reminds me of that concept of pretending to be older, and because I’m 21 now and there are so many times I miss the perks of being younger. I also remember how much we wanted to grow up fast and get more freedom and make our own choices, but if you’re older like me, you realise it’s not always that easy. “Freedom” or independence, can come at many costs and sacrifices and making our own choices also means we don’t always have someone telling us right or wrong, we gotta learn stuff the hard way, on our own. That’s just a small example. Final note, enjoy everything in the moment, at the age you are at. Don’t reminisce to hard on the past or focus too much on the future. If you’re a young kid DO NOT WORRY about having a “glow up” or whatever. You are not supposed to be totally changing overnight, you’re a human being who is going to grow at your own rate. Children are not supposed to be attractive, they’re supposed to be children. Being upset that you haven’t had a glow up is not natural or healthy and I encourage you to embrace the way you look as you become a teenager because you have so much time left to grow.

When I was 13, everyone told me I looked 24 so I acted like an adult, but now at 29 I deeply regret having missed a big part of my childhood cuz I'll never get it back and people got advantage of me, those things scar you for life. I get how that feels, I'm 23 and people still tell me I look underaged. Still, 13 is very young!! I know at your age you don't want to be compared to 11yos, cause it feels like it's a big difference.
