I’m a software engineering consultant programmer of 22 years full stack experience. I did Java from 2001 to 2019. I’ve noticed that from 2020 onwards, most of my green field gigs have been on typescript and python. Plenty of brown fields in Java, but greenfields have been mostly typescript and python. This is my observation in the industry. I move around between Singapore, NYC and Sydney mostly.
