LORDI is the only artist from Finland so far to win the traditional Eurovision, kind of Euro Cup of music. The won singing "Hard Rock Hallellujah". Finish conservatives hated them, but fans and ppl in general did a "Go Fund Me" so they could travel, have the pyro and all for their performance and they won! Since you're in LORDI's lane do "Would You Love A Monsterman", "Who's Your Daddy", "Red Blood Sandman". They love the 80's/90's trashy terror movies vibe.

I watched LORDI in Wacken years ago and they performed for 2 HOURS in those costumes, walking the stage and all. How they have the physical endurance for the weight and heat of the costumes and props is amazing!. The vocalist, Mr. Lordi, took pyrotechnics course. He also learned cinema costumes and making up just for the band. Most of it is their ideas for settings, costumes, theatrics are their own.

I've only ever been to 2 small concerts and the second was lordi about 5 years ago, and it was bloody awesome especially being up close to the stage and seeing him with his wings out

It should be said that this was already the first encore after more than 2 hours of Rock’n’Roll.
And it was f***ing hot in there. I was there, 2nd row. Except for Hella, the Keyboarder, all those guys should be close to their 50‘s now, so pulling of a 2 1/2 hours show in full costumes with tons of props and pyros definitely needs some sort of extreme dedication.

Z7 has always embraced Lordi since their first gig there back in 2003, even of Izvestia less pyro and less audience back then. I was there, first row.
I hope they return with their new 7 (!!) albums for the next tour! They’re still as fun as 2003 if not more.

The main singer I've heard, is a primary school curator. I've known many. As a Star trek Diana Troy speaking, spankin out loud here for those suicidal or and also bullied and having secret revenge thoughts: It's who ever u see fit to end the arrogance to end once and for all. As for me, don't worry, all the bullies I knew are dead by now for sticking to wrong company, in which there are real violent folks

The theatrics are there for sure, but Lordi plays mostly rock music. The outfits would suggest s more darker tone for their music. There is a certain disconnect there that has rubbed me the wrong way with them. But I'm glad that they get some youtube love here too. And the fact that they are rock and not metal was also a big factor in them winning the Eurovision song contest... A contest riddled with euro-pop and power ballads. So even a rock group stands out hard and one with these outfits... I remember there was a huge movement for Lordi in the Heavy Metal community when they were in the contest... Not many things have united the metal community like that.
