Terrific to see Levi working with Mike at the RRPC. Reminds me of working with my "now" 92 yr old dad on our property for decades. Dad was a small/large animal veterinarian. At 5'2'" he was the proverbial "work smarter, not harder"!

Nice video today! Wow, the renewable resources area is looking great. The lower area looks a lot bigger when the excavator is down there. When you panned the camera over it from up top it didn't look so big. Looks like next season's firewood is going to be solid. I hope you get new customers and I hope your bundled wood sells out completely. I'm really envious. I too used to be a morning person. My work shift started at 7. I always clocked in at 5:30, sometimes 6, depending. I left the house no later than 4:30. Stop and get breakfast. Eat and read in the breakroom until 5:30-6:00 then punch in and get to work. Only one time in 35 years did I clock in late and that was 7:01! Overtime was always like mandatory. It paid very well. Made it possible to retire early. I missed very few sunrises. I love the morning, but since retiring, now I go to bed when I get sleepy, get up when I wake up. Usually closer to 8 than 7! And yes I'm a coffee drinker. After getting dressed, its coffee time. Having a cup right now. Thanks for today's video, I really liked to see Melissa's t-shirt operation and a glimpse of your office! Thanks so much. Y'all stay well, happy and busy! See ya tomorrow! 👍🚜❤

I randomly had an idea about your pond. I know you are attached to it and you might not be able to see the easy way around the couple issues with it. Currently from what i've seen in videos, it's a mudhole in the woods. Needs dredging the silt out, overflow and spillway rebuilt. There might be a few fish in there but I think trying to work with it while it has water in it is more trouble than it's worth for a few fish. Cut open the dam, deep. Let it drain, let it get as dry as your rainfall will permit. The rainfall might even save you some work dredging. When it's dry enough, you can drive the Excavator, skiddy, whatever in and get it handled. Build the overflow and spillway as it needs to be built. Even if repairing the hole in the dam is a bit of work, I think that's going to be a lot less tapdance than working around the water and mud.

Nice to see you and your son working together. My dad and I ran a very successful business together for nearly 25 years, great memories. Enjoy your times together.

You need a second bunker beside the first for next year's green wood. So you keep it separate. Only need 2 walls

I am ready for winter. Firewood in my baskets ready for my customer's for the winter. I have a set number of customers and keep them supplied.
My brother has retired and now is part of our little enterprise and that's been a big help. It's getting more difficult finding young people willing to do manual labor even if you offer good pay.
God bless you and your family.

The change in the upper/lower wood yard from the early videos with the cord stacks and the deer feeder to now, amazing

Reminds me of when I was younger. Every year my family I would go to the nearest forest and cut down trees with permission of the owner and rent a splitter and split what we cut for the winter months. Then late winter early spring we would go back and tap trees to make maple syrup, sugar and fudge. It was good times for us as a family seeing we had no TV and had to entertain ourselves.

Always a pleasure watching your daily routines folks... With a little luck, the generous man from LA sent Y'all the approx. 2 qt. spin-on filter as a kit... The cast iron male threaded connector threads in where the outflow hose is now, the filter adaptor has a 90° vertical mount for the spin-on filter, the hose gets moved to the top of the pump, done... All that will be needed is some waterpipe pliers & Teflon tape..." It's beginning to feel an awful lot like Christmas, nah, nah, nah nah nah… " I couldn't resist, lol!

Good morning from Waxhaw, NC where it's 54 and the sun is fighting its way through the clouds. We are still in a state of drought - been a real dry fall for us in our area. Charlotte and around us has been getting lots of rain. We hardly ever get snow, but you guys are overdue. Seems like back in the day, when I lived in Upper Lisle, NY, we had snow by Thanksgiving, and deer hunting was in full bloom. I channel's format - it moves right along and is informative. Be nice if you included Levi's thoughts on things in general and his aspirations for "the operation" as you all scale up your operation. God bless you all. p.r.morehouse
