Vevor vinyl cutters have a major flaw, I know I have owned two. I put up a negative review about them on the vevr website but it appears they only post positive reviews.

The pinch rollers dig into the vinyl leaving marks. Its fine if its a small piece as you only use the pinch rollers on the edge. But if its more than say 15" you need the middle pinch roller so it does not track skewed. You can see it right in the video where he is printing his company logo!!

What good is it if you have a large cutter but realistically can't cut mre than a foodt wode without the vinyl being damaged? The price may be enticing but you get what you pay for!!

I really liked your review! I restore old bicycles as a hobby and need to be able to take pictures of decals, upload them and draw them to make new decals. Currently I have a Roland Stika 15 using cut studio. Will the software with this vevor machine allow me to do the same thing? The Roland is a PIA because it does not seem to work well with Windows 10 or 11.

Does it come with some software or I need to organize my own? Can you recommend any free software if it is available?

Try US Cutter for vinyl. I've been using Starcraft HD but recently started using Oracal 651. I've also been using Greenstar and TransferRite transfer tapes. Oracal 651 and Greenstar medium tack tape are my favorites.

Can I put a pen it it so it draw on paper and not cut it? Can it cut carton/thick paper?

I do not have the SignMaking background like you do, but this Cutter has Caught my Intrest for a long time Thanks for doing this Review IM a retired ProfessionalWoodworker and I will more than likely utilize the Machine to make Stencils BTW it will be Used in a Clean Office Setting buy your Vinyl On EBay you should find more friendly Pricing plus since you have the background you may also find the Professional Materials I also Will likely make Replacement Vinyl Graphics for Boats and RVs Similiar to what is Available onEBay as iM always on the Lookout for Motor boats and Motor Yachts I can Flip for Profits

Personally, I'm very happy with the Silhouette Portrait 3 I just grabbed for a bargain. Print and cut, has decent cut depth, and I can fit most designs on the cutsheets, diagonally if neccesary. Printsheets are consumables anyway.. Silhouette Studio is also much more indepth than the stuff Cricut offers, especially when you do the "designer" upgrade. Noty strictly neccesary, but mopst people aren't really used to using inkscape as their main design software.

Cricut is missing a huge chunk of the market by not integrating print and cut capability into their products..

do you have video showing how you made those decals? I'm very new to this, and that's the only reason i bought it in first place. And right now, It'll only cut text or the stock images in the software. not much to choose from there. I'm starting to think I made really big mistake buying this thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Used these in the Navy form 2002 till 2009! I'm just wondering how much it has changed since then, ! Can you still trace, and fix!
