Can you do a video where you rewrite most of what gpt gives you in your own word while also adding in information form real sources and then put it into turnitin. Students are most likely doing that instead of just copying and pasting it straight from gpt.

If I analyze 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' using that tool, it tells me that it was written by an AI... I don't think that necessarily indicates plagiarism, because it could be used as a style corrector like Grammarly. So, the tool doesn't help much, there's still a lot of regulation needed in this regard.

this still won't solve the issue. A student can get accused of AI writing even if he wrote the paper himself just because he/she writes similar to AI. these detectors will never fully work.

It appears that this new feature cannot point out sources of plagiarism and similarities. If students have poor learning outcomes and write something as vague as AI-generated, will this lead to massive false positives on turnitin?

Can you please show if it detects quillbot, I want to know if trunitin ai detector checks sentence paraphrased from qullbot as AI.

I find that altho it detects ai generated texts to an extent its not even 98% accurate because, a students work can be 100% written by them and turn it in can puck uo generated AI texts and that is simply because no one person has 100% jnique thinking and writing skills, each one will use internet sources and paraphrase them just the way chatgpt does. So then jltinately what makes humans different from AI it's writing too vague is defected at AI generated. It's rather unfair. I myself submitted my assignment to an AI detector and it said it was 97% plagerised when infacf I had written it myself but with paraphrased legitimate sources. I rest my case.

A document can have 10 percent plagiarism but 30 percent AI and that doesn’t mean the student used ai.
