So it is on to a new cycle of TTC. When your on a ttc journey it is hard to imagine there will be an end. You want it but it seems never ending. I find it is best to allow yourself to feel the sadness and disappointment from the negative pregnancy test and then move on to a new cycle of trying to conceive.

Aunt Flo is so unwelcome here and she always comes full force. It’s so frustrating when you are hoping for a BFP. But a new cycle is a new opportunity. It’s coming soon! Baby dust and positive vibes to you!!

12 days is not bad. If it becomes shorter than 10 days I'd be concerned. I had a 11 to 12 day luteal phase and got pregnant 6 times. You've got this! Big hugs sent from Canada 💖🤗

I have a 9 day luteal phase as a standard. When TTCing with both my kids I took a b-complex which made it a 10 day and I did manage to naturally conceive each time. I’d definitely recommend a b-complex if you are worried about the length of your LP - even stretching it out an extra day can help!

Everyone is different but I have a 8-9 day luteal phase and conceived the first month trying with no issues. I’m not an expert but I think 12 days is very healthy and normal so probably isn’t an issue, but again.. everyone is different. Good luck, i’m rooting for you! 🤞🏼❤️ Baby dust ✨

Wow! What a coincidence. Same thing happened to me last cycle. Shorter luteal phase 12DPO morning my new cycle started. This never happened to me before. I'm now on cycle day 6 doing an IUI. I thought like you, it is bummer, but at the same time feels good to just get started again if we wasn't pregnant.
Baby dust for both of us!🤞🤞

im cycle #6 after my endo but 5th cycle trying for baby #3
How can I naturally lengthen my luteal phase?
Ensure an adequate supply of Vitamin C in your diet - research shows vitamin C improves hormone levels and increases fertility in some women with luteal phase defect. Foods rich in vitamin C are: papaya, bell peppers, broccoli, sprouts, strawberry and oranges
How long does it take to lengthen luteal phase?
Luteal phase length
A normal luteal phase can last anywhere from 11 to 17 days. In most women, the luteal phase lasts 12 to 14 days. Your luteal phase is considered to be short if it lasts less than 10 days. In other words, you have a short luteal phase if you get your period 10 days or less after you ovulate.

I'm so jealous your af showed, I'm on 14dpo now, I always have a 12dpo LP and af always shows that day full force with massive temp drop. Iv been spotting on off since 12dpo no flow no clots NOTHING, pink muddy red black. I just want af now 😑I want to start cycle 4!!! Breast feeding can highly prevent you from catching an egg, you will need to slowly down the breastfeeding or just stop and see what happens 🤞

Maybe ask your doctor if you have high estrogen? It can shorten you cycle and prevent pregnancy too. I have PCOS so this is not the case for me, but with my hormones all over the place I thought maybe I had too high of estrogen. That causes a short luteal phase, heavy periods, painful periods, and ovulation occurring sooner than expected. Again, this was not my issue but I think it's worth looking into. Best of luck. Love your videos btw and Iris is ADORABLE!!

As far as I know, a 13 luteal phase is perfectly healthy. If your luteal phase is less than 10 days, then it's an issue. The egg needs at least 10 days to do it's thing

I would extreeeemeelllyyy highly recommend taking a vitamin B complex and zinc. I have PCOS so I struggle with low progesterone and they have reaaalllyyyy helped me and they also really help with any luteal phase issues. I can't recommend them enough. Like you said with the breastfeeding things take time to balance but I really think these supplements will help your body in the right direction.
