This Has Been The Hardest Thing Ever! (...As A Musician)

In my book there are three kinds of musicians: the ones that are in bands, the ones that work as a solo-artist, or the ones that (eventually) do both. I'll be stepping into the latter category within a week, as my first album as 'Steven Anthony Band' will drop, titled "Well, I Guess It's Something!?". And in this video I'll tell you how that came to be, how this experience was for me and what you can expect!

The record is out now, check it here:

Your music sounds GREAT! you can do your own stuff as a "solo" artist AND play with others too. even as a solo artist, you'd still need a band for live gigs. so you really need to have a cooperative relationship with other musicians any way you slice it (unless you just want to stay in your home studio and on the internet). and you can do acoustic AND electric stuff too. do it all. you don't need to limit yourself. You can be a "serious" musician without taking yourself too seriously. I mean, look at Billy Gibbons. he's as serious a guitar player as it gets, but he's never really taken himself or "his" band too seriously. and he does other stuff besides just ZZTop. Just do what you love, and don't worry too much about the rest. If you love what you're doing, that's really all that matters. (well, that and money of course...:):)
