Back in 2013, I covered the Tales From the Crypt title theme as part of Danse Macabre II. This year, the whole band got an opportunity to perform in Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh Gaming Expo, and we decided to include this song in the set. We had never played it as a band before, and we had a blast.
During all of that, the conversation came up about cranking out a quick video for Halloween. So we did. All of what you're hearing and seeing was done in a single take without overdubs or anything like that. We also fixed my original erroneous title ("Hello, Boys and Ghouls") to the Crypt Keeper-accurate, "Hello, Boils and Ghouls!"
