AN ODE TO MY WIFE: After the hardest year of our lives Helen and I head to Tasmania to ride some single track, eat slowly, talk to friends and take stock of two people hurtling through space and time without enough sleep. Low and behold, we realised we’re ok and that the sleep will come and that our second kid- the non sleeper, was about to turn a corner.

As someone who is young, impressionable, and most importantly, has not hit the age of 25 yet, Beau has been an incredible inspiration to me in many ways. Much love.

Beau you and your wife appear to be handling a tough stage of life with grace. I have three, two of whom are under three years, and it’s so hard every day. Your ideas about backyard adventuring have been a huge inspiration to me with my own kids, so just remember you can make an impact on your family and your wider world even when it feels like you’re getting slaughtered. Let’s hang in there together!

Helen is not an ex-mountain biker. She IS a mountain biker! She knows what she is doing. Coming from a life long mountain biker. Great video Beau. Hope you both start finding things a little easier soon:)

Beau is such a genuine person. No fakeness, no fluff. Even a short 5 minute video of his I cherish because it's so _real_

"I got the better deal when I married Hellen. She's one good egg" - (Beau, 2023)

Im getting married in 10 days, definitely resonate with this, and will be using this quote for a while

I turned 46 6 months ago. I can confirm that it does get easier even with a 6 and 2 year old. I’ve just realised that this is my lot and instead of being unhappy with what I haven’t got got I’ve become grateful for what I have got.

Beautiful words Bo. Moved a middle-aged man to tears. And I'm giving my wife an extra long hug when she gets home from work tonight. Thanks for making these films.

I'm 27. You're telling me I've got 18 more years of adult angst?

As someone with a fussy and demanding 10 month-old, and not a lot of friends who are parents, this video lands at the perfect time for me. Thanks Beau.

Kudos to the man who realizes that his wife has it rougher than he does and wants to make it right. Just remember childhood is the shortest time of your children's lives. Then they grow up and you'll have all the time to sleep.

Fantastic film. The funny thing as someone who is approaching 68 is, that none of the career, ego, looks crap ever mattered at all. It is only about how we treat each other ❤️

I don't see aging the same. My young years and early adulthood were horrific. I was abused, made homeless, addicted, etc.

I now love the stability and boredom of being in my 30s and just having a nice safe life, a roof over my head, no drugs clouding my thoughts.

I have a boring job that I love, a dog, and a partner. I thought I'd be dead by this age, so my boring little life is just perfection to me.

Can't be a Beau miles fan without being a Helen fan. Thanks for the beautiful images.

To see a toddler learning new skills every day are magic.
One day she will be a teenager and make daddy worried for real.
