so, here's a little tidbit for those playing the complete edition on switch; you can soft reset by using the + button instead of outright closing the software. WAY better way to get around this, imo!

I see I have liked this video in the past but never commented in it. Thanks for this guide that helped me A LOT in the past. Also, to better risk saving near the end of the timer without actually "missing the mark", I use the 2nd save slot to save a minute before it ends and then use my primary 1st save slot to try to save exactly near the zero mark for quicker resets (if I accidentally saved after the timer ended I can always go back to my backup 2nd save slot and try again until I nail it! :D).

This guide was super helpful, got my first 2 tactician USBs last night from my farm and I'm only at Chapter 2! Grinding for the Jimiken boss fight, gonna do one grind session for tactician USBs every night.

It's much easier to reset on the Nintendo Switch. For my first Digimon game i'm founding out that Digimon is more grindy than Pokemon. Just through level resets by digivolving/de-digivolving. Gaining ABI is tedious and annoying.

after testing I have confirmed you don´t need a bunch of builders, all they do is reduce the time it takes to research
also I got the item with only 2 Developer Know-Hows, so yes a bunch more helps getting it easier, but 2 are enough

I have the switch version. I think generated item is based on the system clock. I've been able to consistently get the tactician usb. I followed the instructions in the video and when start the game and spam "A" to fly through the menu and load a save when the system clock reads 4 on the minute. Either 54, 04, 24 etc. When the minute passes and is now 5, I have gotten the tactician usb last 3 times in a row. I would like someone to confirm this on their switch. I have day 1 switch with current firmware as of Dec 26!

Yeah i hitted the jackpot, got all tacticians in 20min, i builded up 3 farms each one has 5 equipment for development and builders, so 8 tacticians from each farm, which is faster than building only one, and its not necessary to get platinum numemon, aslong as you have digimon that has 3 slots to equip on, for example im using metalseadramon, megaGargomon, tigervespamon, and i can use also titanmon for equiping too

You don't need an entire farm full of builder Digimon, adding more builders only reduces the time, so if you're saving to reload a bunch of times it doesn't matter much. I have two builders on each farm and it takes me 30 minutes.

How rare is this thing to get? Cuz I tried to get one a lot last night over 15 tries and never once did I get one. I should also day that I'm only on chapter 4 and only have one upgrade to my farm

Been at this for almost 2 hours and still nothing, I seriously hate having to rely on RNG to get what I’m looking for, this is not a reliable method at all

i'm near the midpoint of the game, currently chapter 8. i've got 2 farms, both of them rank 4. is it still possible to get the tactician, or would i need a rank 5? so far, i've only seen researchers and some CDs as anything worthwhile

So, if the maximun Tactician USB you can get from the Develop Farm are 2 no matter how much Digimon were Builder, why do you spend that much money on 10 Digimon?
I've seen other guides doing this with just 2 Builder Digimon. Is there any real difference?
