What a heroic achievement! When I saw last week's episode, I thought, "I'll bet these are asbestos sheets." I hate them. My mother's outbuilding has a cracking asbestos roof, and I'm not looking forward to when it has to be removed

I am in awe of your ability and willingness to work SO hard. It must be that Eastern Europeans are brought up with a far better ethic than us in the UK. When many Eastern Europeans came to the UK there was a horrible amount of unpleasantness shown to many of them, and I am sure it was because they showed up just how lazy and unproductive the average British workman was. I salute you both!

add a shower in the bathroom.
I dont know about there but in Australia one can purchase a sandwich metal roof. Long lasting 30 year coated corrugated metal on top. foam insulating panel then a flat metal panel underside. They come in lengths up to 10 meters so or last I looked. Get enough lengths so they side by side. Screw down and you have a watertight and insulated roof after you cap the ridge.
