An excellent showcase of how to use AI for an MVP, with an engaging presentation by Jon. It would be good to see this MVP extended to use Supabase.

Even for those who are not particularly interested in the subject matter (MIDI, etc), it’s a refreshing change from seeing yet another to do application, and a good example of showing how development of useful software tools is now opening up to almost everyone.

The AI naysayers need to remember that not all software tools need to be perfect - sometimes “good enough is good enough” if it gets the job done, especially for ‘internal’ tools for one’s own use, and where security is not an issue.

There must be thousands of great ideas that non-technical people would like to implement, but they just can’t get their project off the ground because of the inability to create an MVP. Of course, there will be a lot of “AI slop”, but that’s not the fault of AI - that’s the fault of the people who are using AI to create AI slop!
