Assassin's Creed Unity - Dead Kings

Welcome back to some more Assassin's Creed Unity. Today I'm showcasing part of the opening mission for the Dead Kings DLC for Unity. This is a free DLC that comes with the game and it takes place after the main story. i loved how this was so dark and gloomy.

i played unity a while ago when it was on sale, don't understand the hate

it perfected parkour
it perfected combat imo (not really a fan of the pseudo dark souls combat, i know some like it tho)
it perfected eagle vision
great skill tree system
great gadgets (phantom blade berserk blade ect)
great open word design (my favourite of ac games)
great graphics
great side missions
free dlc
satisfactory and rewarding stealth playstyle option

one thing that people did like about it was the customisation, which if I'm honest did nothing for me, i much prefer playing as a specific character, rather than role playing as my own creation. ( the outfit in the trailers was so much better than the in-game outfit, and i think this was intentionally done to incentivise buying other outfits with real money) i stuck to the tailored assassin outfit the entire game looks closest to the trailer outfit...)
 
also didn't like the fact that all the npcs had english accents

My only issue with the game was how unrealistic the movements were.. It was smooth af and the graphics were great, but seeing Arno fly up and across a 10 foot gap or gravitate towards ledges to his left and right when descending, felt like a little too much. The game deserved better, hopefully we get a better coop AC game in the future with a proper launch and support.
