WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY?

I walk down memory lane with my fellow New Yorkers to revisit their earliest childhood memory. This turned out to be a very heart warming day where after I left each person I felt a sense of connection that ran deeper than some of my other videos. There's something about a stranger sharing themselves with you, you peek into their life when they are vulnerable and it's there a real sense of connection is formed.

I had an abusive household and neglect and was socially outcast by other kids. When i was 4 a teacher who knew i would usually sit quietly in the corner instead of playing gave me a magazine. I cut out a page of cats in a cute basket. She hung it on the wall and told everyone how amazing i was. It was the first time anybody seemed to care bout me. It was my first real memory. I got only memories of her from when i was 4. How she liked me constantly riming words out loud non stop. How she let me decorate my birthday crown. How she always looked kind. How she never took that picture down. It was still there when she passed 8 years later. How she cared to learn my name. How she knew i hated loud noises. How she cared. Like it was like i woke up from numbness bc of her. Still never got better. But that poster man it showed me she cared. She really facking cared.

I'm sitting here wracking my brain to think of my first childhood memory and I honestly can't think of one particular thing. I had a lovely childhood with lots of fun.

I remember being on a city bus when I was a teenager realizing that I’d probably never know the lives of all the people we were passing by, and yet they had thoughts and childhoods etc.. While the things people said here were sweet, I think that it’s just nice to remember that exactly why everyone is a multidimensional human

The earliest memories that i know is that im playing with my toys and the first things that i saw is my dad.

how are nearly all these memories so happy? i have four very distinct memories:
1. my grandfathers funeral
2. finding my father unresponsive at his desk
3. my friend falling off a tractor and splitting his head open
4. my brother spitting blood after cutting himself on a glass and my mother panicking because a big piece of that glass was missing

I can still clearly remember my mom pushing me in a stroller and going by a park. I point to the swing set and say 'park'. And my mom said 'not today, it's raining'. That was over 50 years ago.

my earliest memory is the day jfk was killed. it was after lunch my mom was in the kitchen i turned the tv on we had 4 channels on the tv back then. every channel i went to people were upset or crying i was three in a half at that time. i didn't understand but because people were so upset i went to the kitchen to get mom but she ignored me so i went and played with my toys. i remember that night sneaking to the stairs after i was put to bed and i looked at my mom and dad. listening to the news at 10 pm. i was expecting them too cry. or be upset but they weren't so i went back to bed. bad first memory. im 61 years old now. and i never forgot it ever. and i did a lot of research on this and i still don't understand who truly killed him. only god knows

My earliest memory is my mother taking me to the theater to see "The Jungle Book" when I was 4 years old back in 1967.

I remember at a pretty yong age, 3 maybe, one time I burst into a loud cry when I was watching TV. In the TV show, a small boy was crying so hard cause he had to be seperated from his mom.This made my parents so shocked cause they didn't expect me to understand the show.AND they laughed their head off seeing me react this way.

my earliest childhood memory was september 11. I was 4 years old and my dad was watching tv and on every channel were the same pictures. I remember i asked him why there is the same movie on every channel. He told us that this was no movie and i think then we went to our rooms

I was almost a child and I remember my uncle talking about the my father side family killed in the shoa

My earliest memories that I can date are holidays at 2y+10m and at 3y+3m. I know the dates from my parent's photo albums. However, I remember details not in the pictures, and later visits to the resorts proved at least some of the memories to be real.
Other recollections, both one-off and repeating events I have from before schooldays include
Going to playgroup/preschool.
Going with Mum to a mother and child group on Thursdays in nearby church hall.
Being bathed in the kitchen sink..
Being taken to the 2 local parks
Going by train to London to visit my uncle, aunt and cousins [remember changing from a mainline to a Tube train and the spiral staircase at one of the Tube stations where we changed trains, the lift at the station near my aunt's home and the walk from the station to their home] Again later visits confirm the memories genuine.
The marriage of a different aunt to our next door neighbour when I was 4y+3m
Moving house at 4y+5m
Birth of my brother when I was 5y+1 month
First day of school at 5y+2m

bruh, I just woke up in 2009 one day a 3 year old in a nice cold air conditioned room. I saw my parents, but I didn't remember who they were anything before that, but still knew what they were talking to me about some how.

I remember when I was 7 I go to picnic in 2018 October 31 and I remember when I was still just a baby I was staring at Coke and when I was in the baby chair I was holding a toy bus and I remember when I was younger like maybe 4 or maybe when I was kindergarten I was recording on my phone and I remember in some trip I was playing on my phone because my mum told me to in kindergarten and I got spotted by teacher but my dreams have weird meanings my dreams are kind of creepy and weird but the atmosphere in my dream is nostalgic I remember in Hong Kong central I got a new tablet I choose for 853 Hong Kong dollars and I remember I got this tablet to download mkx mobile while eating in jollibee probably when I was 8 I remember when I was 6 I go to a Hong Kong star seafood restaurant playing the Old Marvel future fight I remember in the Philippines karate boy broke my hand playfully and most of my past memory are embarrassing so yeah
