1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

If I bought this I'd have to just throw it in the garage and stare at it. My first car in 1987 was an '84 model year in blue. The styling is second to none for me.

Back in '86, all the GM g body performance cars (442, Grand national/T-type, Monte Carlo SS) were attention getters.  Grand Prix 2 + 2's were great, too, but they had the LG4 305. Although no comparison to their predecessors, the Chevelle SS, 442, GS, GTO,   they were a bright spot in a dismal decade.  Weak by todays standards, but mid sized muscle cars were back, at least for a while...  I was 24 & single in 86, but these cars were a bit out of my reach...  but I own an SS now!!

This is my favorite version of the Monte Carlo. Too bad it went front-wheel drive after this model.

Still have one 1987 silver gray interior can't seem to get the driver or passenger window adjusted to where it seals up with the weather stripping

beautiful car, my 1988 SS is also black, replaced the carb with a 750 quadrajet from a 84 impala, hooker headers and real dual exhaust, better aftermarket distributor, line-lock, etc. have had some nice street cars in my 62 years but these are special.

Really nice Monte Carlo would love to have this one this is probobley my favorite interior/exterior color combo I remember working for a Chevrolet dealership in Naperville I'll, I worked in the parts Dept not bad money at that time I used to see these Monte Carlo, s being unloaded off the car carrier, s all the time!! BRAND SPANKING some with only 12 miles on them remember the black/burgundy ones got a chance to drive a bunch of them nice cars at the time I owned the Z-28 but the Monte, s caught my eye I almost baught one, I would have gotten an employee discount!!🙂🙂🙂😊
