Moses Mwangi was born and brought up in Githurai. At class Five, he ran away from home for lack of food due to poverty. He thought he would find relief but it turned out to be tougher in the streets. However, he reformed and went back to school. He got educated and started working with NGOs to do various projects around his community and across the country. He now helps to rescue street children and guide his community on empowerment. Mwangi, also known as Zhangi is running for MP in Ruiru Consituency. His agenda is to engage the community and empower them for self and corporate sustainability.
