There will be more and more EV purchasers who prefer a different style of EV to the Teslas. There will also be purchasers who wouldn't buy anything associated with Elon Musk. Those groups could go for Korean or Chinese EVs. Then there are those who wouldn't buy anything associated with the Chinese People’s Republic. They might buy Korean. South Korea offends nobody!😅

The EV world needs a shake down. Simple as that. That's why I hate the idea of any gov't quotas. Real life shake down of a product, good. Gov't mandates that screw up normal market functions, bad.

Tesla, we will not maintain number one forever, not likely for much more than a year or two… unfortunately service and several other issues with regards to how they treat their customers and how easy the cars are to get to a place of service is just very poor and that’s very critical to maintaining a number one spot… Not really sure who will be number two in the long run. It may fluctuate based on who does the best in the next few years as there are quite a variety of good cars competing in this space.

While Hyundai has quite good BEVs, they are rather scammy company and there are many stories about how they screwed their customers - particularly in cases, where there was a need for spare parts. They already sold that car, so they don't care…

as the share of the market is growing exponentially and of course Tesla is not going to build every EV sold in the US. The undertone is that other manufacturers are on pace to pass Tesla in the US. Which is totally false
