Chief Executive John Lee declined to comment on reports received by the Hong Kong Journalist Association that some reporters had been followed by unknown men in recent weeks.

In response to HKFP, Lee said at a Tuesday press conference that he would not "spend time to talk about individual self-speculation or perception."

True leaders have time to defend the human rights of the people. Journalists have the right to complain if speculations of authorities are not pressed on officials to investigate officials' harassment. Those who rule Hongkongers must have a sense of people and protect human dignity.
