I got to watch some of the live yesterday and was so happy to see it, but I had to get off quickly. I’m re-watching it again and I am so grateful that they put this up here for people who don’t have people to be with as well as people who do because not everybody has family. Thank you for this Holiday Video. It was great! I listened today, Friday as I was with family and it was wonderful…My Mom passed away on Thanksgiving Day 2015, so it’s a very special time for sister and me. I miss Edmund. I watched all his videos and I am impressed! Heck…I’m impressed with ALL of you! It takes a different person to really want to move and live full time in Alaska remotely. Maybe in the cities it’s not so bad as you have the access to pretty much everything a city has to offer. But still…way too much snow for loooong periods of time is what I’d never live in as you guys do. I enjoy all my seasons here in Michigan. High five to all of you! I love all your channels ♥️. Merry Christmas everyone!

Alaska was my home for over 20 years . I hunted, flew, netted, prospected and construction . Get an airplane . I had to leave for some medical things , but since I discovered your show , that fire in my heart got re - lit !!

Thank you... For this livestream ...to the three channels. I am spending Thanksgiving and Christmas on my own this year. I've been traveling the country in a van and actually... I was in Alaska for the summer. You live in the best state of them all! Alaska is my favorite state and I really miss being there. But... It's too cold for someone who lives in a van 🤷‍♀️. I'm looking forward to your Christmas livestream... Being with all of you.... Helped me to not feel alone. Thank you again... I really enjoyed watching ❤

I can't wait to watch this LIVE! I didn't get out of the kitchen until close to 9pm EST. Tried to join in near the end, but only remember a few minutes, I fell asleep in my chair only minutes after sitting down & logging in, ha! I'm looking forward to seeing it, though. Great video. Alone, you are great! I have been on my own for 5 weeks now, husband wanted the separation, however we seem to be on a friendlier term now. Holidays alone, love it, however as it’s our first one I invited hubby to stay a couple of days . It’s easier for me to be alone but not for him.
He’s having his bathroom redone in a weeks time so guess he will be coming here to use the shower … Hope you managed to get a new job. Looking forward to work been done on your home.

Wow, that’s cool. Sarah was from upper state New York. My mom is from there and it is ice cold. Albany and Buffalo and the Adirondacks. My mother used to swim in the freezing lakes imagine lol

I live on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State and here our TEMP TONIGHT is +39 DEGREES at 8PM but our HUMIDITY is 92% on a dry Thanksgiving Evening of 2024. The Humidity makes it feel like I live in Alaska which is ABOUT +30 DEGREES. Humidity makes a huge difference in the tolerability of being outdoors for any length of time. Adding in RAIN & WINDCHILL can feel absolutely miserable on those with Arthritis.
Watching you all chop wood looks so easy compared to even our down and seasoned wood as it’s still has has quite a bit of moisture in it compared to your dry seasoned wood that just pops apart vs our twisty stringy wood.
