Thanks for watching! We're back into more of the same style of videos that this channel started with. Winter, skiing and some nice drone footage :) Hope you're all doing good!

Brilliant drone footage. Glad you were able to retrieve it. Amazing insight into what goes on with the snow and weather in this region too. Excellent film, thank you x

Thanks for your snow and research news. As a retired Science teacher, I am always keen to real data in our present world. Stay warm!🤠

High latitude sailing; impressive. Boat skiing; exceptional. Standing in front of shoveling girlfriend saying “shoveling is pointless”; priceless!
Thanks for gathering research data!

Easy to see how Iceland got its name. You made me laugh several times!

I spent a year living at a US radar site on a mountain overlooking the Norwegian Sea from the heights of Heidarfjall Mountain located on the thin neck of Langanes Peninsula. Friends of mine were stationed on a different radar site on Straumnes Mountain near Adalvik Bay - a few dozen miles north of Isafjordur. If you looked up while passing those two places, you may have been able to see the remnants of those two sites. One closed in 1960 - the other in 1961 when high winds blew the ‘Bubble’ over.
While stationed there, I would often watch the cod fishing boats just off the coast of the peninsula. Our job there was to watch for Soviet Bombers - if they crossed into Icelandic airspace we dispatched USAF fighters to escort them away from Iceland.

The beautiful scenery you show in your video reminds me of the time I spent there. Thanks for posting.

I was surprised the water did not freeze in the hose. Man you have a lot of energy and good attitude to manage through these challenges. I admire that. Stay strong and safe!

Superb video, you vikings are made of tougher stuff than us brits. If the sun isn't shining, then its boat ashore and feet up in front of the fire with a cuppa tea for me..

Huge thanks to the support crew (patrons) for sticking along! In this video I'm using a new 360 degree camera (insta x2) that was 100 % funded by patrons. Quite happy with how it works when skiing, allows me to capture some nice angles and I can do a lot with just this and the drone.

The drone that suffered in the making of this video has a bent arm but is still kind of working. If my prediction is correct, it'll probably experience a painful death soon. If you're interested in helping me out with replacing broken drones and cameras etc., check out my Patreon page below! I promise to buy either beer or a dinner for me & Sohvi with any leftover Patreon funds 😏

That's hilarious, about 3 hours ago I unsuccessfully used duct tape to make connections on an air pump...and then I watched you and felt much better.

Those shots were incredible. It's amazing that just a little over a decade ago it would have cost tens of thousands of dollars/euros to get footage like that, and now it's a grand or so, and knees good enough to climb up and ski back down.

Living in Australia I can't explain how incomprehensible this is to me!
