Honestly I want a safe recycler more than anything in the club right now. We have a lot of players who are too risky and cause a lot of turnovers. We need someone who is the opposite. Who is a high volume passer, good range of passing with high accuracy and a good recycler of possession. Ugarte is good in these areas while being top 0.1% out of possession. Another reason why I believe Collyer is a very good prospect.

I am 90% sure that a loan with permanent option to buy and an immediate purchase has little difference in terms of PSR. It just delays the payment slightly making a saving in terms of the time value of money. I think our issues are more PSR related rather than cash

But Sam, the amortisation is the decisive element in the spend plan. 50m over 5 years is 10m a year, so we have spent 20m so far in regard to FFP. just depends on where we are in previous years.

Right now the perfect signing for Manchester united is Mirko Topić
-He's a 23 year old, Serbian defensive midfielder born in 2001
-hes 6ft 3, strong, physically built for the English PL
-hes very good with the ball, defensive, press resistant etc
- he's valued at €3m
-if Manchester united can sign him, it would be better than signing Amrabat, whose gonna be a bit expensive.

So a loan move for ugarte and having someone like Mirko Topić would mean mainoo and collyer would have 2 experienced partners to partner with in the midfield
