Theyre against things that make one idle or lazy (theres better terminology for it). So its less about level of tech, and more about what the tech does that comes into question. And different groups have different thoughts on what falls within the bounds of acceptableness. Its all about balancing work ethic and necessity.

There are a lot of Amish people who live not too far from my town and I've learned that some of them do use technology sometimes, they just aren't looking at screens all day or using as much electricity as a normal person would, but I don't leave town very often so I couldn't really give you any specifics
