I Can’t Believe This is LIBYA (Never Before Seen)

I HAVE MADE IT SAFELY TO LIBYA, COUNTRY #184!

All of the stress of getting the visa and acting as a business consultant is behind me now, and I have REALLY ENJOYED exploring the capital and biggest city of Tripoli. This city really caught me by surprise!

My intention in making this video is to give you a glimpse of the local life and tell you what it's like to visit Libya as a tourist from my perspective.

I spent my childhood (1994-2006) in Abu Kammash, Libya. I had tears when I saw the same buildings of Tripoli in this video. People of Libya are always friendly and the country was amazing. I hope everything will get better in Libya so I can visit my second home one day. Cheers from India.

Drew, thank you so much for this video. My father was born and raised in Tripoli. His Sicilian parents had a store in the square. His family went to Italy during ww2 because the bombs and gun fire were becoming too much. They returned to Tripoli after the war and he eventually came to the US in the mid 50’s he told me a lot about his hometown but your video really brought it to life. I’m Italian American but I’m also proud to have been raised with some Libyan culture. It’s a beautiful country.
