7 Things Toxic Parents Do

Are you wondering if you have toxic parents? Or if you were raised by a toxic parent? Unfortunately, toxic parents may not realize their mistakes until the mistakes are too late. Regardless, whether or not a parent is purposely being toxic, there are several behaviors that can cause an emotional trauma later on. Do you think you might have a toxic mom or a toxic dad? Then this video is for you. Do note, not all parents are perfect, but your parents will still try their best and want to be the best for you if they can.

The worst part is when they're all this but when you confront them about it, they deny everything and turn the tables, reminding you of the *one* selfless thing they did in your 18 years of living and oh boy are you ungrateful for not acknowledging that instead of these 173738 horrible things they have done.

Sometimes you end up believing this and the picture is really distorted and you can't even trust your own feelings.

Edit: when i wrote this i knew that what she does is bad.. but i never really thought it was abuse.. so, just know, if you can relate to this and you think this is normal, this is *not normal* this is *verbal abuse* .. i myself never thought this was abuse and i know there are so much more people like me.. and so.. i just want people to know that verbal abuse is a thing and your probably a victim of it

I'm gay and unfortunately my parents found out the worst way about my relationship and they believe that i will ruin the family and their reputation because of a "wrong decision". Oh well I guess I never knew feelings was a decision.
