This video shows ERD testing a PAT crane limiter model prz35ez. This programmable limiter came to us from a crane company with a bad input which could not read any sensor it was programmed to monitor. This programmable system allows an operator to monitor 2 sensors on a crane to prevent any sort of accident from happening. Many types of sensors can be programmed with this system from wind to various angles on the crane and it can also be used to lock the crane to prevent disaster.

We rebuilt this module and as shown in the video we are testing the newly replaced channel for proper operation.

ERD has repaired many sensor control units and this is just one very specific type (crane) that we have repaired over the years.
