Ronaldo is our boy no matter how much u talk about him, his legacy will never end and he will keep shining .

Back then, Ten Hag used to favor Martial over Ronaldo, I hope he is happy with that decision.

scholes was the guy that i saw being the most spot on on this topic. its not so much about the fact that ronaldo wasnt playing, it was the fact that ten hag had said earlier that he didnt want to disrespect ronaldo by putting him in when they were losing 4-0, but then decided that throwing him in in garbage time wasnt disrespectful

I love how the class of 92 players never fail to bring sir Alex into any conversation ever.

Absolutely spot on, everyone wants Ronaldo to be the average player… he’s not! And if I want to wreck the career of a legend and imply that he’s no use anymore, the way he’s been treated is exactly how I would. Don’t bring him into an important match even while getting whooped 6 goals but bring him on to play 2 minutes in an already won game. Kill any confidence he or anyone else have left in him and Ronaldo resists it and I ain’t mad at that at all.

After the interview, scholes were spot on in this. This is exactly what Ronaldo felt. He was disrespected when they wanted him to come out for 3 minutes, JUST BECAUSE.

"ronaldo can't accept not being left out and wants to play every game" is complete bullshit it's just the way ten hag dealt with that situation... with zidane, pirlo, allegri and sarri they used to leave ronaldo out at some games and ronaldo was okay with that, ronaldo accepts he can't play every game.

but again zidane, pirlo, allegri and sarri would never disrespect ronaldo and bring him on with 2 minutes to go with the game comfortably won

"The minute a Manchester United player thought he was bigger than the manager, he had to go" - Sir Alex Ferguson when he let Beckham go to Madrid. He would not have tolerated a 37 year old veteran doing what Ronaldo did.

Honestly, he’s 37 and he walked out. If Paul pogba did this last year these same ex players would be leading a march to his house. Ridiculous

This reminds me of what Zlatan said. Many in and around united are too focused on what Ferguson would do. Those times are over. EtH is in charge now and lets back him. Didn’t Fergie ship out Becks when he started acting like a diva?

This isn’t SAF though, Ten Hag is his own man and clinging on to the past and comparing people to SAF is one reason why United are in decline

I disagree. Furguson turfed Keane out once his best years were behind him. Furguson was utterly brutal once players were over the hill.

Man united will not win a premier league in 100 years for that betrayal Ronaldo could had win everything at man city and choose man united for respect and man united did not respect the goat!

It's not that he couldn't accept being left out, he was upset with the way he was treated, and the misguided and disingenuous nature of the Manager to sabotage him. He sat him on the bench, and used strategic tactics to punish Was it to teach him a lesson about not always being chosen and wanted him to see what it was like not to shine? Fine if Ronaldo was an ego driven maniac who needed to be put in his place, but that's not the case, he was a passion driven machine who wanted the team to win.

CR7 is a legend that was disrespected and mistreated by a bully ego driven Manager who tried to put out the shining light of this star, but it backfired immensely!!!

To try to deliberately obstruct a players talent and performance to prove a point, is bad leadership.... But Man United paid the ultimate price losing him.

God Bless this icon ❤

Literally not true. Fergie got rid of Van Niestelrooy for refusing to come on.

The relation between sir Alex and ronaldo is like father to son.
