Hi! I’m getting ready to install on my house. My question is, did you consider running along gutter line rather than run against the house under the porch? I have a similar porch and wasn’t sure if I should go straight across it or run in and against the house. It seems the point is to have the lights shine on the house to get best effect right? Otherwise the just shine down on the ground if there’s no wall to show light on? Lmk what you think

Do you have any advice for houses that don’t have smooth soffits? Installation for eaves or soffits that have a 2 x 6 every 16 inches or so?

Wondering if it's possible to turn off or grey-out singular lights within one 16' strand? I have extra at the end of my roof line but want need to put these up because they're the direct connection to my power source. However, i'd have to overlap or figure out a way to add these on my soffets and then turn off the last 6 of 12 lights in the strand. Is that possible? I thought i saw in the app tutorials where you could literally control each individual light.

How far off your siding did you place the lights? I was originally going to use a 2x4 for spacing, but I'm leaning towards 2 inches based on other installs I have seen. Very helpful video, thank you.
