UKSC Winner (Jazz/Blues category)
Retro Jam (2004) was composed for an educational resource. It deliberately evokes the energy and swagger associated with the 1970’s American cop show genre. The score exploits typical big band techniques, such as: shout chorus, pyramid entries, soli writing, accented stabs, stops, constant structures, falls, shakes and a high pedal harmonic on the alto sax which connects the sections. Special thanks to the session musicians. Paul Haywood (saxophones), Andy Hague (trumpets), Gareth Churcher (trombones) and Mark Whitlam (drums).
Amazing cinematography can be seen in full on YouTube - Credits in the video.

Believe or not, the music and pictures can be so perfectly combined? It seems that this video is made for this music.
The artist who made the video must also have a super high musical accomplishment. Otherwise, how could it be possible to perform a good screen switch while listening to the music.
This is really a super perfect audio-visual feast!
