Is Swatch's Sistem51 watch really that important?

Limited edition now. After the COMCO dispute in late 2019. The mechanical Sistem 51 Irony Automatic took the back burner for a while. The swatch Sistem 51 Irony Blurang that was released this winter is already out of stock and production. They are now making more quartz Bold design watches. I still have my swatch Sistem 51 Irony Sistem Rub and it's still operating amazing. The Flymagic was a flop and I would not dish out $1200 for the Flymagic which is also out of production

if so many pieces are welded together that's going to make maintenance impossible, at least on the level of a more expensive watch, I mean all you can do it give it a bath in a parts washer and hope everything comes off.

It is fun of course but I honestly think the same money can buy you a stainless steel, windable and hackable orient with a presumably longer life span, 200 m wr, great lume. Nevertheless technical achievement...
