I'm a second-generation immigrant from Nigeria and visit there occasionally with my family. I remember when I was younger, I saw that a bottle of Coke was only about 10 cents (in American dollars) at the time, and I was astonished. People in Nigeria wouldn't be able to afford the $2 bottle of Coke that you see in every vending machine here. If it were priced that high, they would make no profit. It really shows that its value isn't a set amount; it's worth as much as people are willing to pay.
