Musikmesse is finally dead!

The Musikmesse in Frankfurt was once the largest Musik Trade Show in the world.
It has been going downhill for a few years now and this year is has reached the lowest point ever. This was just sad. So sad!

Did the prices for booths just get too high or is there not enough demand to make the trade show worth it for vendors? This was like watching shopping malls by me die all over again.

I remember the 90s when Musikmesse was gigantic and everyone went. I could have had tickets for free, but even last year was really sad so I didn't want to go.

I have to agree about the guitar emulator. If it can make a strat sound like a respectable dual humbucker guitar, then it's worth buying vs buying ten guitars if you don't have a ton of money to throw around. It will never sound exact, but it could help a low budget band play more songs. That's not a bad thing...

Very sad! I was there in 2008 once and I already didn‘t find it to be so special at all. But still, you had Fender there introducing their Road Worn Series and some other stuff... I think at least... Well, RIP Musikmesse.
