The videos on the original population of Scottland seem to have forgoten the fact that Scotland was inhabitated by Ligurians, the primitive, preindoeuropean population on the whole of Europa since the end of the last glaciation up to now.Numerous toponyms attest a reign of ALBA in Scottland -, cited by Roman historians, a name from which the name of Britain ALBION derives.One of the biological markers of the Ligurs ( Λιγυες) is the A Rhesus negative blood group which is a dominant trait.
So if a modern Scot has this blood group his ancestry could with high probability be ligurian.
The modern Liguri are the only descendants of the vast ligurian group of ethnies to have conserved their general ethnic name.
