Fun Fact about Shin Godzilla (okay not really a fun fact for it but still): Unlike most of the other Godzillas that have existed as their own species, Shin Godzilla really got the short end of the stick. It started off as an unidentified animal that was exposed to high dosages of nuclear radiation which messed with its DNA so much that it gained the ability to constantly and rapidly evolve. However, evolving at a rapid rate meant that Shin Godzilla is in a constant state of pain and confusion, so the poor bastard wasn't even initially trying to be hostile to people.

Love how after each atomic breath there’s a refrence to the movie, so when Godzilla did the “Ballet” part that was in the actual movie lol

The music kind of hides the sheer coolness that is the sound that the modern movie Godzilla makes while charging up

Godzilla is just that cool, everyone knows he's the King of the Monsters for a reason.

The best aspect of Godzilla is that most of them came from different origins we have a frilled shark, reptiles, a giant plant, dinosaurs, god, a manifestation of red dust, an alien and even death incarnate

And each movie takes a different approach he represents a hero for now, anti hero, balance of nature itself, fate, the result of pure hatred, an accident, a reminder of the past, constant guilt, evolution, the first victim, a representation of quantum possibilities, godzilla is just the perfect creature for the impossible

Minus One, The MonsterVerse films, Shin Godzilla, FInal Wars, and GMK are good entry points for the series.
If you want to check some out.
Its a very beloved franchise even for the stories told often.
Minus One won a oscar recently even.

Would be great to see more of your thoughts on him.

So, a bit of a disclaimer for 1998 Godzilla from the movie, that version is the only one that doesn't have an atomic breath. The fire was from its breath as it was roaring, which then sent some cars flying, a spark happened and ignited the fumes coming from its mouth and the gasoline from the cars. Godzilla from the animted series does have an atomic breath, but its different from the movie version, as its the child of the 98 movie, that fans of the show dubbed Zilla Jr. Cyber Godzilla is the body of the 98 Godzilla that was used to fight Jr in the animated series.

Always love seeing people's reactions to Shin Godzilla's atomic breath. Would highly recommend that movie too.

Actually Godzilla is a series where the variety is appreciated.
As long as either the action or story is good. Godzilla is very flexable.
He can range to horror and action to even comedy kids films.

Also I would love a Godzilla Minus One reaction when its out. It won an Oscar and is a amazing emotional film.
Very meaningful.

Or if you dont want to wait the MonsterVerse and Shin Godzilla are solid pics to.

You guys should totally watch Godzilla Minus One (ironically not featured in this compilation lol). It’s admittedly in subtitles which I know isn’t generally your guy’s thing but I think it’s better at it then anime cause most of the dialogue is during pretty chill moments so when stuff’s happening that you want to see you aren’t constantly reading while you’re trying to watch it. That said Godzilla Minus One is I think the best Godzilla movie to date and even without Godzilla it’s just a great movie about the effects of war, self worth and the ability for the human spirit to move on from tragedy to find something better.

Zilla (1998) eventually becomes Cyber Godzilla in the 1998 cartoon series. It's also the 2nd Godzilla of that series' parent who becomes conflicted once Cyber Godzilla appears and stops listening to the show's protagonist. The reason why that version of Godzilla was renamed Zilla was due to Toho disliking that version so they bought the rights to it and used it in a fight against Godzilla to make fun of it, lol

I admit, I have a soft spot for 98 Zilla because that's what I grew up seeing. Obviously now a days I have come to love and appreciate the true godzilla. That being said, I still have that soft spot for Zilla. 🥲

So to explain a few things the Godzilla series is separated by era's in particular within certain time periods Godzilla underwent not only design change but personality changes as well. The first Era was the Showa which lasted from 1954-1975 this Godzilla was the more comedic out of the Godzilla's and the source of MANY memes. Godzilla would be defunct for quite a while until rebooted in 1984 and would last until 1995 as the Heisei Era. This is where Godzilla would be a more serious character, and slightly more heroic too as typically his fights more often than not save humanity however he's not purely good as he has been antagonistic quite a few times. We then go to the next Era the Millenium Era where he's a mix between hero and villain as his actions do save humanity but he does for the most part attack humanity and only saves them because another monster happens to fight him. It was typically in the last films of that era he was straight on an antagonist.

Finally we get to a split between Era's, we get the Legendary Pictures Era which features an American Godzilla, and the more wildly accepted over Zilla, the first American major Godzilla. This Godzilla is mostly heroic in that he fights to protect humanity however he doesn't try to stop collateral damage so basically if you're in his fight zone you probably will be killed.

We also get the Reiwa Era Godzilla and unlike the previous Era which is the same Godzilla, generally, throughout this Godzilla is different Godzilla's with different origins. The Godzilla with the split mouth is Shin Godzilla and is considered the most terrifying Godzilla as not only is he pretty much destruction incarnate but he has the scary ability to evolve through stress and had he not been stopped it would've meant the end of Mankind. If you wanna watch Godzilla I would recommend watching starting with the Heisei Era as that's the start of the more serious Era of Godzilla. That being said the Legendary Godzilla Era is also a nice watch if you wanna start that one.

It seems crazy these differences of Zillas do bring some chills and shivers when hearing them roar 🫠 I can’t imagine what the future holds for the big Kaju in the future of movies or shows for them to shine

React to all Godzilla roars from 1954 to 2023 or make more Godzilla content love Godzilla

Would love a reaction to Shin Godzilla. Its a criticism of the Japanese government honorifics and how long they take to react to things.
Also has great music and gets views for reactions. Solid movie to get into Godzilla.

Or the MonsterVerse.
If you just want action.
